Executive communication when judgment matters
Private work with Karina Carlos for leaders, founders, and professionals navigating communication with real consequences.
You may have a recommendation to explain, a decision to question, or a difficult conversation ahead. The challenge can be to make your reasoning clear while recognizing what you know, what remains uncertain, and what your role allows you to do.

Public speaking and executive conversations
People seek executive communication coaching when the demands of a conversation change. You may recognize one of these situations:
- You need to present a recommendation and explain the risks or tradeoffs behind it.
- A question from senior leaders, a board, or potential investors calls for a clear explanation of your position.
- A disagreement requires you to clarify an expectation, state a limit, or ask who can make the decision.
- A public talk or panel calls for a clear account of complex work, including what you can and cannot support.
These situations provide context for your application. Your responsibility, the people involved, and the consequences at stake help determine whether private work is appropriate.
The judgment behind the message
My approach to executive communication considers the position you are taking, the evidence behind it, and the responsibility you carry. It also considers what your audience needs to understand and where uncertainty or disagreement needs to remain visible.
A clear message lets others see what you recommend, why you recommend it, what remains unresolved, and what you are asking them to do. Executive presence matters in how that message is received; confidence or polish alone does not establish authority.
How Human Authority informs the work
Human Authority connects human capability with legitimate standing to act and responsibility for consequences. In communication, this means attending to reasoning and expression alongside role, competence, decision rights, and accountability.
A communication difficulty can involve missing knowledge or unclear expectations. It can also involve who is heard, who may decide, or whether disagreement is protected. Understanding those conditions matters when considering the work that may be useful.

Tell me what is happening and what you need to address. I review each application personally to consider fit and the appropriate path.
Depending on the context, the appropriate route may be an Authority Diagnostic Session, an Applied Authority Pilot, or the Human Authority Intensive. A Pilot may begin directly or follow a paid Diagnostic. Scope, expectations, and investment are agreed before work begins.
Applying does not book a session, confirm acceptance, or create a charge. Please share only what is necessary, leaving out sensitive data, business secrets, and identifiable information about other people.
